My story:
I had a penchant for writing since my school days. I used to read varied children's magazines. I even wrote poems in English and Hindi for our college magazine, which were appreciated by one and all.
Later on, I chose writing as my career and did my MA. Even though initially my parents wanted me to make a career in Accounting or Computer science, finally they bowed down to my wishes.
The best thing about me is that I'm a very confident person. And my sole objective when I write is that it should be gripping.
My samples:
... She woke up from her deep sleep to drink water. But when she walked towards the table to take water from the jug, she heard the sound of the front door opening of the next room. She opened the front door of the room. She saw Rukhsana, all dressed in black, with a black sack coming out of her room. She saw the later going upstairs. Manisha knew that there was only the terrace upstairs. Then she came inside her room and checked the wall clock showing 11:45 pm. She panicked, ran and banged the door of the college-warden Ms Dhanashree Mishra's room....
..."She loves me and I love her is the only thing which matters to me. Her poverty and illiteracy are the least things on my mind." said the film-hero Anish Brijkishore in a very confident and striking manner. The director three times Filmcrust award winner Mr Vasudevan got the perfect shot and he said "cut". With an evil stud smile on his face, he took his I-phone lying on the chair and saw six missed calls from his wife Minal, fifteen missed calls from Manjari, his girlfriend of three years, twelve missed calls from Latika, his girlfriend of two years and three missed calls from Shanti, his mistress since college days...
...Siddesh and his wife Jyoti matched in one quality ie both were workaholics. Both were married since the past four and a half years, and both their mothers beaming with pride claimed that there were no fights and no complaints of each other. Jyoti had done her MSc and B eD and was teaching Science in a very reputed school in the city. Her dream was to open a state of the art coaching class. Siddesh was a MBBS doctor and his clinic always had very heavy rush of patients...
..."That man may be insane. That's why he has raped and killed six women. How can you send him to me ? Suggest a male doctor. I'm not taking up this case" said Dr Saeda Baig, the psychiatrist sweating profusely to Dr Divyakant on the phone...
